Okay, so I'm trying to set up rightwaynews.com as a second domain, independent of erisfilms.com insofar as they're not related to each other in any way apart from belonging to me. It was supposed to be entirely a blog.

After I set it up (under the subdomain rwn.erisfilms.com), just going to http://rightwaynews.com or http://www.rightwaynews.com didn't work. It just redirected me to the messed up erisfilms.com (I messed the site up, but that's okay, because it's now on hiatus). However, rwn.rightwaynews.com or rwn.erisfilms.com got me to where I wanted to go. I tried a few things and none of them worked, and then got the brilliant idea that maybe if I deleted the rightwaynews.com domain entirely and added it again that I could make a go of it again.

Not so much. It won't let me add it again, it just says "Alias rightwaynews.com is already bound to a site." And wordpress won't let me change the internal thing from rightwaynews.com to rwn.erisfilms.com even temporarily because "you need to enable sending referrers for this feature to work." Which I don't know what means.

So...I dunno. I'm totally lost. I want rightwaynews.com to function--to the end user's perception, anyway--independently of erisfilms.com. I want there to be a blog there, which I think I can handle. But with rightwaynews not appearing at all on the 'list of things I can mess with and probably break' it's just stuck redirecting to the erisfilms.com homepage, which doesn't currently exist anyway.

So I guess all I need is that rightwaynews.com cleared out so I can add it back in again (or just re-added for me, I'm not picky on that behalf) and an explanation of how I can avoid breaking that again, and I've used five paragraphs to arrive at that.

I've cleared the domain out of the account for you. Readd it and don't forget to hit "Synchronize Changes" after you've added the domain.
